What year did the first Fairfax Vacuum come out in Washington DC.... The one with the GREY cord ,and all RED trim and Grey boxes....On the big box full of tools it says S-1 Fairfax. Thanks, ~David

Well, I'm sure that who ever you talked too,was NOT in working with Kirby Vacuum Cleaners in 1966!

Just to let you know, Kirby rebuilt EVERY MODEL in ORIGINAL colors all the way up until 1970! The cord is a brand new black cord,and the handle pole should be wooden,and the wheels would have still been black in 1966,,,,,ALSO you can see that the rebuilding tag has been tampered with as it...
