what do u think about the workshop brand vacs? they look like the ridgid vacs maybe i'll buy the ws1200de since it comes with bonus floor brush, dusting brush & 2 foam filters (for wet vacing)

i disagree about the newer kirbys being great i think its a fair vac (performance wise) i had a avalir & returned it after the 3-day 'trial' ended bcuz the classic 1cr outcleans the avalir

i luv using mine! i paid $1 for the ridgid wd1640 vac (aka 'black friday')  i upgraded to the 2<span style="font-size: 8pt;">1</span>/<span style="font-size: 8pt;">2</span>" hose wands & tools.

the canister style from 1970s/80s/90s better than anything upright made nowadays

high airflow=high suction a ridgid shop vacuum (when using the larger diameter hose) but a bit less airflow when using smaller diameter hose
