    miscellanious canister vacuums

johnnyvac I use a johnnyvac julliet [red] in the Funeral Home. We have 2 Kirbys, a Electrolux Prolux that takes care of all of the carpeting. The johnnyvac takes care of the stairs, office and the 5 bathrooms, and wherever a Kirby can't get into. It works well. I have had the Eureka...

    Researching Vacuums

Stricklybojack Your last comment is why I suggested the Sears Canister with a powermate. I was listening to the customer, as I would do in the cleaning service to see what their needs are. I was trying to suggest a vacuum that would be easy to use and would not choke on paper clips and coins...

Brushroll with stiff bristles + delicate carpeting = damage?

What type of vacuum do your Parent's have? I don't know if you live with your Parents and do all of the vacuuming. If you brought this vacuum over to use on their carpets, then, I could see that you got a lot of fluff up. What type of vacuum do your Parents have? New? Older? Upright...

    Electrolux Central Vac.

Nutone I have had three different central vacs in three different houses. I love my Electrolux, BUT, it was bagless. Horrible. Had to wash out the foam filter every time or the suction got weak. My first was a Sears, which was bagless but never lost suction with the cyclone. I adapted my...

    Electrolux Model xxx

cloth bag The XXX only uses a cloth bag. I'm sure that you could find a disposable bag and cot it to fit INSIDE of the cloth bag. Better yet, use the XXX and when finished use your LX to vacuum the cloth bag.

    Frankenbag

Beagles I have 3 Beagles. Take 2 cups Baking Soda and add 10 to 20 drops of your favorite essential oil. Shake it until all is blended. Sprinkle all over your carpet. Wait awhile. Then vacuum. No more smells in my Kirby, Hoover or Electrolux!
