    Fun Video from Miele Japan!

One thing... None of the vacuums were plugged in. How and why are they "vacuuming" (they turn it on by the foot pedal) when the machine isn't even plugged in? Silly and pointless.

    Hose length

Riccar One of the many reasons why I love my Riccar Immaculate. LONG hose, LONG cord, FULL sized tools. I did EXTRA homework before buying my Riccar after owning the Miele Capricorn (with it's short hose, short cord, tiny tools.) I don't know why manufacutres think a shorter cord or hose...

Two wires or three in a hose

I'm not sure... But maybe the third wire is a ground wire added for safety. Anybody else have an idea?

    The Robots are Coming..

Great for a superficial clean... I think the Neato is a step in the right direction (no pun) with it's logical way of vacuuming in a orderly fashion. And while I don't think a robot vacuum can produce a "deep down clean", they are great for in between vacuumings.

    Your favorite modern canister

My new Riccar is now my favorite. Enjoying my brand new Riccar Immaculate. I had the Miele Capricorn but couldn't stand it (now designated for car use/basement use). Before that a Kenmore Progressive (still running, parents are using it).

There's no doubt... I wont be having any issue with the motor of the Immaculate. It feels more substantial than other canisters I've owned. I was even impressed with the hinge on the accessory hood cover, it's not just clipped on with a spring like on the Miele. The hood has two hinges, one...

Thanks Tom... For this tip...I changed it around and raised it so I can park the wand to the underside of the canister.

@dysonman1 Tom Thanks Tom, I just tested that out and it works just like you said. I didn't know that was even an option.

@dan (kirbyloverdan) I checked Wayne's video of his Moxie (equivalent) and his "Off" LED doesn't light up either. I thought it would glow in standby but that doesn't seem the case. When you get a chance, check yours out and let me know what yous does. Thanks...

Parking Bracket.... Russ...out of all the attachments, only the floor brush (circled in white) has a bracket built on the neck (circled in red) of the hose connector. The adjustable wand itself also has a bracket that parks with the canister sitting upright (slot underneath canister) or at the...

    Riccar Immaculate Canister (UNBOXING)

@eurekaprince Oh yes, I can defiantly say it cleans better. I've been using the Miele Capricorn for like two years. I just used it yesterday in my regular weekly cleaning. Today I tested my new Riccar (after unboxing) and ran it around the carpet (not a full cleaning) and there was dirt in...

    Riccar Immaculate Canister (UNBOXING)

Power Nozzle... No I don't think it's any more noisy than a Miele SEB-236 or Kenmore Intuition power nozzle. It does NOT have a high pitch whine of say an L shaped Electrolux power nozzle, it has a lower tone like a whir. Wayne has a video of it...link below...

Dan (kirbyloverdan) A question for you... Is the "Off" light supposed to light on the handle of the Riccar Immacualte? All my satus LED's light up except for the "Off" one.
