Does anyone know how to find out when a Dirt Devil was Made?

I tried to figure out when my 2 Dirt Devil Quick Vacs were made. I tried to 8 months ago, but I don't think I'm correct on it. Here are the MFG codes for them. Dynamite Plus (M084650) G17B Vibe Quick Vac (M084501V) E08A

How's it going, haven't posted here in a long time.

So, I haven't posted here or talked to anyone in a few days. The last time I posted here was earlier this month when I smelt something coming from one of my Royal Hand Vacs. Anyways, if you're wondering how I'm doing, I'm doing fantastic. My town's in quarantine right now and it ends on May 4th...

It smelt metallic from what I remember, I'm thinking it's something in the motor.

Red Royal Dirt Devil 500 help.

Hi there, so today I vacuumed my house with my Empower and Dynamite plus. After I got done vacuuming the floor, I decided to vacuum the stairs using my Royal Dirt Devil 500 (My Red one, not my yellow one). After I did 2 steps, I started smelling something burning from the vacuum. I immediately...

    The 1.79 Hoover from Goodwill.

Oh, so that's what you were trying to show me, EurekaFanSquid. I went there back in October. To answer your question kirbyklekter, it is a switch to the motor speed because it sounds lower pitched in Hush Mode. Also, to answer your other question, the Empower was like a fold away with speed...

    The 1.79 Hoover from Goodwill.

EurekaFanSquid All the links don't work, I think there are typos in them or they just don't work. The 1st one does nothing, The 2nd one takes me to a page not found screen, and the 3rd one takes me to a Vacuumland error page. What are you trying to show me? Can you please take a picture of it...

    The 1.79 Hoover from Goodwill.

The link doesn't work. Also, I fixed the broken tool clip with some Loctite.

    The 1.79 Hoover from Goodwill.

Also in the post above, there's a comparison between a Household Empower (example-Turbo Empower 4600 U5268-970) and a commercial empower (C1660-900).

    The 1.79 Hoover from Goodwill.

To answer both Kirbyklekter's and EurekaFanSuid's qu 1. The empower was like a slightly upgraded version Fold Away. 2. The Empower had the Hushtone mode like Hoover's Commercial Hushtone bagged vacuum which was a bagged equivalent to it's commercial cousin. These vacs are actually still being...

    The 1.79 Hoover from Goodwill.

I also saw a blue one, I didn't get it because it was in bad condition and was dirty. The screws were even rusty. It was a deep blue model, but I didn't know what model number it was. What shade of blue was it? Was it a deep blue or pageant blue. And did it have black accents on the power boost...

Tons of questions to ask about Hoover in the 2000's.

I now have an Empower (Model U5269-900). Here's link to the thread that I created about it->https://www.vacuumland.org/cgi-bin/TD/TD-VIEWTHREAD.cgi?39245_2.

    The 1.79 Hoover from Goodwill.

I decided to go to Goodwill and Veterans day. And I picked up A green empower (U5269-900). I accidentally Broke the tool clip the Thursday after. Otherwise it's in good Condition. It's just missing the Turbo Tool, but this is also my First Maytag Hoover That I used. I'll Post pictures of it...

    Hoover SteamVac Agility

There was actually a black Turbopower version of this. I don't know how high the product number was in the lineup, but it looked like it was a higher end machine.

    Hoover Steamvac Spot

I think this is a later day version of the Steamvac Jr. This is also essentially a mini Steamvac Agility. Here's pictures of The Steamvac Agility and the Steamvac jr.

    Hoover Steamvac Spot

Like Mr. Rare Uno, Steamvac Jr 2.0 seems rare too. On youtube there is only one video on it. It was an advertisement of the Steamvac Spot. I'm also assuming it was a disposable steam cleaner. The blue Steamvac Spot Duo is one of my dream machines. This was also made for pet stains and spills...

Does anyone know about Mr Obscurity a.k.a The Eureka Uno?

I think these were just Altimas with an optima handle slapped on them. I'm assuming these came out the same year the Altima came out too. I also think this was a slightly upgraded version of The Optima since some models came with spin dusters like the Altimas and Whirlwind Litespeeds did.

Does anyone know about Mr Obscurity a.k.a The Eureka Uno?

When I was 6, I started searching up images of vacuums. I came across an odd looking Eureka Altima. I don't remember how I found out the name, though. Anyways, does anyone know about this vac. Seems like Mr Big Optima would be a very rare vacuum. Here's some pictures of it too. including a...
