Wanted: Dual Sanitronic 80 Bag & emptor.

Not really in it at all for the money, and I do not need paid myself for the time spent.

Wanted: Dual Sanitronic 80 Bag & emptor.

So with mine in a tarnished state, and missing the bag, and emptor, is this worth restoring? Ore would it be better to part out?

Wanted: Dual Sanitronic 80 Bag & emptor.

How much would a very nice, fresh buffed dual sanitronic 80 be worth?

Wanted: Dual Sanitronic 80 Bag & emptor.

Anyone have a spare they would be willing to get rid of? Got a nice restorable condition vacuum out of the trash and it is complete with exception to these.

Photo Request Kirby G3/G4 cord mounting.

So in conclusion, on my g4, is it as simple as buying the updated scuff plate and screw it together like pictured on that G3?

Photo Request Kirby G3/G4 cord mounting.

My collection stopped at heritage II. Im quite confused.......

Photo Request Kirby G3/G4 cord mounting.

Ok, so the G3 pic was helpful for me to get my G3 installed proper. However the pic of the G4 above is showing the curved piece of plastic that is supposed to pinch the cord. If I intall this, the part of the cord that it is pinching is too big..........also this little piece of plastic is...

Photo Request Kirby G3/G4 cord mounting.

The original scuff plate and cord. Someone took it all aprt and now I am having trouble getting it back on. When I install the cord, the vacuume will not go into reverse.

Photo Request Kirby G3/G4 cord mounting.

Would really appreciate a photo of the proper way to attached the cord and screw right near the top of the motor housing, right before it clips on handle. The part that the screw goes thru. Kirby g3 or g4 would do the trick.

Kirbyu HEPA Bags.....How good are they?

So, when using virgin brand new HEPA bags in lets say a Heritage I or Heritage II, are these any good? Dyson and others have true heap filtration, and kirbys only have the heap inner bag and outer cloth bag. I still have dusty computer screens, and such after vacuuming, however I do not own a...

    Buy old or new?

Go old. Get the Kirby, but not for that price. Seems a bit too much. Where Kirbys are not good, is on commercial rubber backed rugs. They have too much suction, and will be super hard to push. Also on hardwood floors with throw rugs, you need to have another person stand on one end of the...

    Kirby Gold-Mine Acquired-See for the non-spoiler view!

If you get spare time that would be great.

    Kirby Gold-Mine Acquired-See for the non-spoiler view!

I understand now. That makes sense that it would concentrate more suction. As for the Dial a Matic 1120, how is it? I was too young to remember. I only got to work on it, and forgot alot. How is the suction compared to the kirby? Sorry for the derail .

    Kirby Gold-Mine Acquired-See for the non-spoiler view!

Question: What is that hoover in the background with the orange panel? I had one of these back in the 90's. Secondly, what is the hype other than the fact it is rare for the small 13" nozzle? I actually think the new thin nozzle that has the brush indicator light on it, makes the vac look...

    Emptying Kiry HEPA bags.

Kill / destroy a vacuum by reusing bags? Hardly. Dust bomb the inside of the outer bag should it rupture, yes. Good news is the amount they are filling is decreasing, so the other CMS 1000 must not have been doing an adequate job. Its amazing what the Kirby / royals will do with ancient...

    Emptying Kiry HEPA bags.

The only reason I asked in the first place is because the white hepa bags are so durable in comparison to the paper. I assumed it may last one emptying. I am going to try and let you all know. On a side note, we used a CMS 1000 amway vacuum for years, and when I got this Heritage II, the...

    Emptying Kiry HEPA bags.

Well, it looks like I will be the guinea pig. I vacuumed out one of the hepa bags with my classic III, outdoors. The material looks VERY VERY robust. I do not think it will break. However I am not sure how well the filtration will hold up. At $4.50 per bag, these are too pricey.

    Emptying Kiry HEPA bags.

I use a heritage II weekly and fill the kirby hepa bags quite fast. At $4 per bag, it is getting expensive. If I use another vacuum (like a classic III) that has the empy out bag, can I vaccum out the hepa bags outdoors? My concern is if the hepa bags wear out from a filtration standpoint.

    Kirby Tradition bags

Using a HEPA inner bag on a Kirby that was intended to use a paper bag will indeed cut back on the suction. The HEPA bags do not exhaust air as well as paper. So being the tradition has an already undersized fill tube, you will simply make it worse. Keeping the original fill tube is not...
