I definitely think distilled water is worth it. I have exclusively used distilled water in my Jiffy clothes steamer, I have not seen a spot of anything. Sometimes distilled water is difficult to find in my area, sometime it takes 4 stores to find some.

Sounds interesting! I would imagine that the Classic and Legacy are the models still produced in Bristol. I would imagine that they might finish the Guardian in Bristol as well. I’m not sure if they are still producing uprights.

I just did a handle yoke adjustment and service, and it fixed the issue on my G7. If the yoke hasn’t been serviced in a while, this might be worth a try. There are several videos on YouTube showing how to service the yoke, Performance Reviews did a G3.

Yep, it’s a tank on carpets, it’ll run the cord right over. On hard floors I either have to avoid moving the canister where it would go over the cord, or you have to tip the corners and lift the canister over the cord. I really like how easily it goes over transitions!
