Human, and others, I think I mentioned in another thread an improvement for the Oreck BB. I ran a strip of thin adhesive foam around the perimeter of the bag rest (ledge) and increased the suction quite a bit. Did the same thing to my GE Mv1 & 2's. Made a big difference.

Now THAT!, is Community at work on here. Helping each other out. When you mentioned Oreck store, I am sure they all closed.

Yes, I painted the hose with a better matching color. I just noticed that the furniture guard is missing. I must have mixed something up.

Did... anyone who owns one of these vacuums ever experience the exhaust blowing away the debris?

I finally used mine and I was disappointed because the exhaust began pushing the fur away before I could vacuum it up. Any ideas or tips? I considered building a diverter or baffle to aim the exhaust away.

Found one! In the form of a packet of Nutone Central Air bags. They are pricey but do the job. Thanks for your suggestions.
