Electrolux Olympia free to good home

Kevin Steve actually replied within 3 minutes of the original posting. Good timing I guess. I'm not trying to create hard feelings for anyone.

Electrolux Olympia free to good home

Hi all, Steve got to me first so I'll be packing it up and sending to him. I'm cleaning out my collection so I'll have a few more machines that I'll offer up to folks here on the forum before trying to list on ebay or craigslist. I hate to have some of these go to someone who won't appreciate...

Electrolux Olympia free to good home

Hi all, Cleaning out my collection and have an Electrolux Olympia (body only) that I'd love to see go to someone who would appreciate it. All I'd ask for is for you to pay for shipping. I bought it years ago and then promptly acquired a Silverado so this one hasn't seen much use from me. If...

Is my Sanitaire a gonner after water exposure?

Hi all, Since I'm not a repair person by any means, I thought I'd pick your brains on my Sanitaire. Last May we discovered we had a broken pipe at our mountain house which caused considerable water damage (i.e. we had to gut the entire house). My Sanitaire was in a room was not hit with standing...

    LG Kompressor Canister

connector Patrick, Do you know if the tools are proprietary or are they a standard 1 1/4" connector? I have a brush attachment that I absolutely love and like to take it from machine to machine. The PN on my Iridium skips horribly on my berber carpet but has been okay on the cut pile. I've not...

    LG Kompressor Canister

Urgh...I posted this earlier but it didn't show up :-( Has anyone tried the LG Kompressor Canister? The animal version is at Sears for $379. I'm looking for a bagless canister for my mountain cabin. It doesn't get too dirty up there but I don't like to have bags sitting and fermenting while...

I got another Power Tank :D

I'll have to dig it out to see which model it is The speed control is on the body of the machine. It's been a good machine but tends to be too hard on the hardwood floors when i use it, so it's been relegated to the basement

I got another Power Tank :D

Since we're on the subject My tank has developed (not constant) the habit of shutting the motor off unless I pick the tank up by the rubber carrying strap. When I do that, the motor comes back on and works fine. If I play with it for a minute, it will stop doing it. Obviously there's a short in...

    Quadraflex conversion

Hi all, Does anyone know if there is a way to (easily) convert a Hoover Quadraflex for use on another machine with a standard 1 1/4" connector? I've been using a Kenmore bagless a lot lately (the dogs are shedding like crazy and was going through too many bags) but I absolutely hate the...

Attention Denver collectors - these need a home

Not the case John I sent a message to David today about the 61. He had sent me an email but it went to my spam folder. Neither of these are on ebay. I have to say you're not doing much better to help the image of Denver folks any better with your attitude.

Viking 507 - make me an offer before it goes on ebay?

Hi all, Paring down my collection and there are a few vacuums I'd like to see go to club members before i put them on ebay or craigslist. This is a Viking 507 Electronic - never used. The reason? It is missing the top handle and electrical connection. I bought it a few years ago hoping I would...

Attention Denver collectors - these need a home

61 NOT powering up Sorry, I didn't spell check before I started. The 61 is NOT powering up. The original plug was repaired back in the 80s so it may just need to be tinkered with.

Attention Denver collectors - these need a home

Hi folks... I'm paring down my collection and want to find a good home for these two. Would like to see if any of the Denver/Colorado folks want to stop by and get these since shipping would be horrendous on them. The model 61 is now powering up but I think it may just be a plug issue. It has...

    This weekend's estate sale finds!

Always jealous I'm always amazed at what you find, Fred. Every time I go searching on the weekends in Denver all I find are 5 year old plastic Hoovers and Eurekas. It's very rare to find any vacuum older than 10 years old it seems. I'm jealous of that Lewyt! It's beautiful. But the Sunbeam...

    Royal canisters- any fans?

While we're on the subject My blue Royal has been having intermittent trouble with the motor cutting out unless you pick the machine up by the carrying strap. Has anyone else had this kind of trouble with theirs?

Newest Member of my Sunbeam Family

Nice Morgan! That's the same model I had growing up...I remember being fascinated by it and following my mother around the house while she cleaned the house. My favorite part was the slow pitch of the motor turning off...it was very long process and I would wait until the last purr before it...

    Windsor Sensor

Not much suction My Windsor like that doesn't seem to have any suction (nothing blocked, just poor performance). It performs "okay" but doesn't seem to go low enough on my berber carpet. Love how quiet it is though and how easy it is to move around.

Anyone know what kind of vac this is?

Thanks Rick I figured it might be a pile lifter but had never seen one in person. Interesting looking machine to say the least.
