    Rainbow D4c seperator removal

Welcome back Tracy. I store my collection in the guest room... who invites guests to stay anyway? If I did, it would likely be another collector.   Stay around a bit this time   Tom

    My latest purchase.

Wayne,   We share a birthday, separated by a little more than 30 years.. but a good day. I see you work in a vac shop. That can be a blessing or a curse. The first Pig I ever used was at my first retail job back in 1979 and I've used many since in all kinds of industries. They are easy to...

    Hey! Nice pair.

Never underestimate Sears ability to market the same product with only minor changes as multiple products.

Welcome to the forum. Nothing like a Pig to get the job done.

    Hey! Nice pair.

Sweet! Get the tan wheels and paint them with Kylon Fusion. I've had great success with it on all things plastic and it wears very well. The trick is a very good clean, light sanding for a good key and very light coats 15-20 minutes apart and a full 24 hours dry/cure time before installation and...

    Kenmore 29229 power switch replacemant

LOL... that's what comes from trying to ready a schematic with old eyes and a smart phone screen.... I thought the price was mighty cheap for a switch.

    My first stereo

LOL.. I still have a Betamax, 8mm projector and camera and a 16mm projector. Have 100's of home movies in 8mm from my childhood and a dozen or so 16 mm films. Mostly education/history/National Geographic in content. I also have a Brownie camera from my misbegotten youth.

How to keep a vacuum collector busy

I use schematics, those and on other suppliers, all the time. Saves a good deal of time once you have a part # to search on.

    Kenmore 29229 power switch replacemant

DesertTortise,   The model # is 116.29229210, 211, 212 or 213. The on/off switch is part #KC46NDWNZGUU - but please double check that... I'm nowhere near as conversant with Kenmore vacuums as you are, but if I'm reading this right, the same switch is used for all models. Available from Sears...

    Tower Fans

I've done the same using an air compressor.  Works wonders to remove the vast majority of the crud.

    Restoring Electrolux model 30

I too use and love both Mother's and Never Dull. A Magic Eraser also works very well on vinyl, plastic, metal, chromed and painted surfaces to remove surface dirt. Do be careful on painted surfaces as you can remove the paint pretty quickly if you press too hard.
