    MieleS5 vs aerus guardian

I grew up with Electroluxes and always preferred a canister to a upright. When my original Silverado kicked the bucket a few years ago I went to a Miele retailer who did a demo for me. I was really impressed but did not have the money to spend on the machine. I decided to fix up the old Kirby...

    Mom's Miele s230i

You can replace the brushes yourself. It is not very hard, I did it on my Kirby and I had no electric motor experience. I would definately not throw it out!

    Eectrolux metal bodies

I guess I can try that. My Silverado looks mint except for some dents on the bottom. Paint is intact plastic and chrome is pristine

    GROOM

That 10 week old puppy on the right is a fox terrier and he doesnt shed. He gets groomed by hand stripping. Anyway I found this to be ironic since the Dyson grooming brush could never be used on such a dog.

    Good Powerhead Cainster?

With my limited knowledge of vacuums I do know I would take a old electrolux over any of the Chinese made pieces of plastic that are being made today. You can probably find a nice clean electrolux in good working order for much less than a new vacuum and it will probably last a lot longer. I...

Questions about my Kirby Heritage 2

My parents bought the vacuum new in 1987 when I was 7 years old so I have no clue if they registered it or not. I bought the fan case off of ebay. What is the Kirby rebuild program and how much does it cost? Can I register this new serial number? ( I still have the original broken fan case)

I had to replace the front fan cover which includes the serial number, since the original developed a crack. The part I received was supposed to be new but has K*********** serial number unlike the original 187********* serial number that belonged with the machine. Is the part I replaced it...
