Very Awesome find. There was a Riccar at a thrift store near me for only $25 but it was a late 90's/2000 model. I woulda grabbed it but i was short on cash and it had no attachments duct tape on the handle and was packed with smelly pet hair.

Ironing and folding clothes. I like hanging some of my shirts on hangers to dry. Then all I have to do is fold my jeans in half and hang those.

Bearings greased maybe? Or could just be a defective reset switch/breaker...Try another reset first. Thats probably easier. Good Luck :)

I like them.. Ive never seen the Singer version with a cord rewind in the newer version. But I sis used to have a 2 speed Singer from the early 80's with a cord reel and 2 speed toggle on the handle..The cord winder was set up more like the Eureka F&G with cordaway.

Very nice! I think you would have to poke around on ebay or and old hardware store to find the solution, but any steam cleaner soap will work. Bissll, Hoover, etc.. Good luck with it. Kenny
