For some reason on this vac I am unable to roll it on the two back wheels going forward. It is as if the wheels push down and then the base drags on the floor. Is there something I can adjust? Thanks.

I just bought these bristles for my Convertible model 70. They slide in just fine but the ends stick out too far. Had to take a hacksaw after them. They seem to be working fine and much better than the aftermarket brushroll I bought on ebay that has two rows of brushes and no beater bar...

No, the replacement has two rows of brushes instead of the beater bar. I have put the original brushroll on but I am not sure that it is doing any better.

I have been using the high setting almost exclusively because it has a brand new brushroll and with this generic belt it will slip on low. I have genuine Hoover belts on order because I could not locate any locally. If anybody has a blue hood or bag for a 70 that they are interested in selling...
