    NZ Electrolux machines

I always thought yours and OZ's 2nd letter or suffix typically was an 'e', but that there were some exceptions. It seems to me that the designation has something to do with a country's specifications; or it may be used to identify the plant in which it was made. Maybe chestermikeuk or vacbear58...

    Regina Brochure

The Regina V 400 canister series was introduced in 1969. The original three according to ads were the V-440 (economy), the V-460 (midline), and the V-480 (deluxe). There was also the door-to-door "Master Mind" version a couple years later shown on BEWITCHED, S8 E26 "The Truth, Nothing but...

    1988 Electrolux z2010 - How to remove/bypass suppressor?

Congratulations on acquiring your Electrolux Z2010. I have no experience with removing a suppressor or removing a fan case and recrimping it, but check out the linked video posted by Beko1987 showing his similar work on a Dolphin. Hopefully, it will be of use to you:

    New machines

Elliot, In case you are unaware of this site it provides digitized scans of select floor & surface care appliance ephemera (I think US only, though). Basic membership is free. Here's the link: https://automatice.org Btw, are you collecting hard copies of the user manuals and other ephemera of...

US Premier, G-E & Hotpoint Companies & Model Timelines

Yes, but "Sweet Sixteen" is my name for it; in reference to the "Sweet Sixteen" 1600 Series Eureka canisters of the early 1970s. I know Hoover300 is familiar with Eureka and has quite the collection of Eureka models from c.1910 to c.1950.

Oh, ok. Well, I'm glad you posted them just the same. I have yet to come across another thread with so many photos of G-Es. Apparently, they're not as popular with VLers. Ah, so you have a G-E "Sweet 16"—very nice. :D How does it compare/contrast with its contemporaries in terms of...

    NZ Electrolux machines

Roger (ibaisaic) has an incredible collection and makes and maintains their shine. I enjoy his videos—and in this case his photos. Btw, I notice that you refer to the 90 as 'Z90', but I have only ever seen it ID'd as 'ZC90' followed sometimes by a lower case letter that represented a country's...

You can use the link to the archived thread as your go-to Hoover US, CA, & UK reference, Elliot. I just added the US Convertibles list a bit ago that is also posted on another thread. https://vacuumland.org/threads/hoover-us-ca-uk-color-palette-1950-1980.45470/

    Modern Hygiene Vacuum

As it was only sold door-to-door, advertising was minimal. I located only two LIFE magazine ads for two of the tank-type models and several classified ads. The valuable one to which Elliot referred and that is shown on the HAZEL screenshot is apparently model 1055. I have also attached a...
