Yes! All of the singers ive worked on have had that problem. i think it was a design flaw. now i just automatically think to skew the brushroll when i put it in.

Also! I entered the Sturtevant Model 15 into The Most Historical Significance catagory of the non-cleaning competition and i won second place!(: I brought the Sturtevant with its hose and actually found an upholstery nozzle to fit on the end of the hose! Trevor

I have to say the Classic III!

I have a.. Vintage Eureka upright and the handle needs to be rewired because there are exposed wires touching the inside of the metal handle near the switch. I found out it needed to be rewired the hard way..... LOL Trevor
