    New Oreck Cordless

Thanks for the repsonse, Relhall! I know with a quick and easy vac like the Pod, I’d be using it far more than my full sized Aerus machines. I don’t allow shoes worn beyond just inside the door, don’t have pets, and am generally good for keeping a (slightly ocd) clean home. So if the thing...

Emissions Does anyone own the Pod now? Are the pods good at filtering like Miele/synthetic disposable bags?

    Aerus/Electrolux Canister Bags

DVC synthetic bags I use the style U in my Aerus Lux Guardian upright and so far so good. I use the style C (same material/quality as the U) in my Super J and no issue with those either. Power/Airflow is better than the paper ones, especially noticeable in the Super J.

    Riccar Supralite Cordless

I’m curious about the performance of this too. Especially if it’s good and safe to use for hardwood floors and other non-carpet flooring. Of course, carpet performance is important also. Can someone provide a detailed review from experience?

    Vacuums at my Goodwill

I have one of those Shark steam mops. I’m a little sad to not see anything really impressive this go around. But then again anything impressive shouldn’t be there.

    I got a Whispertone!!!!

I’ve had the Panasonic versions of this. Great machines. Gave them to family who abused them but they lasted a lot longer than most!

I GOT A FANTOM FURY AT LAST!!!

That is an impressive looking amount of stuff picked up. I wish they still made these. I’d love to have a Lightning or Wildcat new. There’s not a current bag less line that I like or find interesting enough to try. I’ve had Dysons in the past but I think that since they do bottom empty that...

I GOT A FANTOM FURY AT LAST!!!

I’ve seen static cause stuff to stick on the outside of the vacuum (when I had a Dyson Ball Allergy and DC 50) but I’d never seen it do that on the inside of the bin. Glad it’s not an issue for concern. With Dyson I found that if the hose is extended the vacuum power is lessened but it was...

I GOT A FANTOM FURY AT LAST!!!

Why is the vacuumed up debris hanging on in the middle? Is that where it separates inside the bin when the bin is removed?

    Vacuums at my Goodwill

I find the sudden change of heart minutes after PanasonicVac’s post rather interesting given that you were curious and seemingly into the Lux before that. And it never struck me (or anyone else it seems for that matter) that your thread was about “What vacuums do you see at Goodwill?” You...

    Electrolux Velocity

That was sold under the Eureka brand in USA.

    Vacuums at my Goodwill

I wish I could get it. The reason it doesn’t sell is due to people not knowing what it is or thinking it is a commercial use vacuum only.

Looking for a canister for around $400

In the event he doesn’t have a sidekick or double sided floor tool, he’s still offered a nice deal. The sidekick and double side tool can be found on evacuumstore for new or I’m sure ebay has used ones.

    Impulse buy of the year!

I think the bag collar is shaped like the Aerus P bag. I would suggest trying those. They’re synthetic HEPA bags.

Found a Super J in the basement

I recently bought a Super J from eBay and I was amazed how much power it has. The thing is older than me and where I’m used to modern vacuum motor sounds, I didn’t think it would perform as good. But it proved me wrong! I hooked up a 30ft hose, 2 wands, and a floor tool and it still was going...

Looking for a canister for around $400

I agree with bags, mortorized power nozzle, and Aerus Electrolux. These canister vacuums are super versatile, durable, and powerful. Bags are way less than other brands and are easy to remove and insert.

    Need help identifying vacuum

This looks like the Electrolux Versatility upright vacuum. The Versatilities were popular in stores for a while.

    Vacuums at my Goodwill

I agree with getting the ProLux. There are aftermarket attachment kits (and I’m sure some genuine ones on ebay or at an Aerus dealer) you can buy in order to have a full fledged home vacuum cleaner system. My Lux upright is one of my most favorite vacuums ever and I get my floor cleaning...

    My Electrolux 1205 Rebuilt 💕💕💕

Keither I’m way jealous. I want one too! How did you find the rebuild?

    Cordless Powerhead

Riccar Cordless @honestjoe68 That is a post I wish I had of seen when I was searching for an upright vacuum! I was really considering this but there weren’t really any reviews, and the YouTube videos out at the time weren’t convincing enough for me.
