My Windsor/SSS Versamatic Has arrived with some problems

I swear this is a SEBO ET-C powerhead. Go to www.sebo-vacuums.com Go to their Air belt C canister, look for the link for the ET-C powerhead, it will show the operators manual. Don't know if it will be any help, but take a peak. Vernon

Lindhaus carpet "dry cleaning" shampoo, or equivalent.....

My Linhdaus power nozzle is capable of doing the same thing. Never tried it though. Give it a try and let us know. By the way, which model of Lindhaus are you using??

The Canadian Electrolux Triple Brush Polisher/Scrubber/Waxer Survey

Dave, Thank you for the excellent pics and description. Much appreciated. I happen to own a widetrack (2101) in the taupe color. These gears are no longer supplied by electrolux. If you are ever in need of new replacement gears, go to www.ttparts.ca This wholesaler started carrying them about...

Is it made by SEBO by any chance??

    I got a question....

Just because it says commercial, does not necessarily mean it will have more power than a household unit, some will, some won't. Usually one advantage with a commercial unit is a larger filter bag capacity. The "Taski" vac is a good unit with a fair price.

Eureka Style K Bags for 900 series (rotomatic) ANY??

I checked with Eureka, no longer available, checked with a few distributors, no generic bags available either. These fit the ancient 900 series models (rotomatic) Are there any substitutes a guy could use instead?? Vernon

Miele, Riccar, or other brand bag leakage/blow by

First of all, I'm used to my lux which has the rubber in the bag collar, and the rubber gasket on the inlet spout which virtually eliminates any leakage or blow by. Lately I can't resist checking other makes. What I've noticed is that many brands, the pre-motor filter is covered in debris to...

    Electrolux Silverado Touch Up Paint

What has anyone used for touch up paint that closely resembles the Silverado color?? Any car paint--make, model?? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Vern

    Lux 2100 Question??????????

Sounds like the bag full indicator is a little on the cranky or defective side. 1. check the hole in the lining of the front door where the hose goes in and the hole in the bottom of the bag chamber. Sometimes these can get a little clogged and cause problems. 2. A vacuum line could've come off...

Another Addition to my Electrolux Collection!!

Logan, What's the selling price on those perfect cannister bags?? what quantities are they available in?? When I get around to purchasing them, I'll end up having them sent to my dad's mailbox in the US. Anything that's new or good, it seems to take forever to get it here in Canada, and then...

Another Addition to my Electrolux Collection!!

Logan, Do keep us posted on the "Perfect cannister bags". I emailed the company and they told me they can't be used in lux as they are thicker and will reduce airflow and burn the motor out. If it's a hepa bag, I completely disagree with the response I got. So please keep us posted when they arrive.

Another Addition to my Electrolux Collection!!

OOOH, the unit looks to be in excellent shape, lucky you. I'd definitely replace that old braided hose. I've been using the Endust Hepa bags in my Ultralux Classic, they offer superior filtration and airflow does not suffer as greatly as the bag fills.

    my Lux 89

Probably one of the best made vacuums, indestructible, has a cord winder that is probably made for one million cycles, and quiet too. Too bad we can't turn the clock back 35-40 years to purchase one new. I have one and won't part with it.

    Sears Best 2 speed Kenmore

Call Sears parts and service in Canada, they were able to tell me that my mother's Kenmore was made in 1974, that was a couple of years ago. It might be worth a try. All what they wanted/needed was the model number. They had to flick to a couple of different screens, but eventually they were...

    Perfect Canister - Pictures!

Andy, The cardboard collar on the bag, is it the same in thickness as the lux bags, or did they make it heavier/thicker to accommodate the extra suction. Vernon

    Perfect Canister - Pictures!

Morgan, Try purchasing Endust Filtration Hepa Bags for your Lux, they work quite well, a little pricey though. Erick, If you're thinking of putting a more powerful motor in your Lux, it's a good/bad idea. If your lux has the motor thermostat, you'll have to be careful if the newer motor draws...

    Electrolux problem

Motor problems would be the first thing that comes to mind with a howling sound. Either armature or bearings. Just a thought

    Perfect Canister - Pictures!

Supposedly IMIG (the makers of this clone) and Electrolux Home Care Products (not Aerus) had a court battle over some Sanitaire models.
