The last 6525C I got last week. Vacuum is in perfect condition because it stays in a basement about 40 years. The saler told me the vacuum has work for only 2 years. I only had to install a paper bag and a new belt.

Hi John, I can cover the bellow if you think this can help to secure the bellow. The base of outer bag is good, nut and screw are there. I would not risk to tire the small spring which supports the outer bag (see picture) I just ordered 12 more belts. With 7 vacuums, it is better to have many.

Sometime I had to put generic belt. it works last long time (6 months) Once, I tryied to put a larger Hoover 612 belt on Hoover 652, it still works well. In Europe, this is not too difficult to get Hoover belts, some stores have stock but the price is expensive... about 10€ for a pack of two.

Ho Anthony On my 612, I do not see very well how to remove the brushroll to change the belt. Could you help ? Olivier
