    "Vibrating, Whisking, Sucking".... Hmmmm Just doesn't have that same rhythm as "It Beats as it Sweeps as it Cleans!" Hard to imagine the former as their slogan! Maybe that's the other reason Hoover became number one! RB

    Well The Unfortunate has Happened

    Or replace it with another Lux Model 'E' motor? They are great motors, easy enough to find, great machines, and of course an 'original machine' is always nice, esp with it being tied to your grandparents. Just my thoughts. Rick
