    Shark Navigator Lift-Away worth it?

I have 2 Shark uprights. NV500 and NV340. They perform better than many would expect and maneuverability is excellent. I really like using them. However motor tone is very high pitched. Especially in the NV340. Well picture says more than thousand words. Motor is incredibly tiny. It runs...

    Kirby's in the European market

At least in the Finland Kirby seems to sell well. I see a lot of Kirbys in the Finnish internet auction site. People just are trying to get huge money from those. I have G6 imported from the Germany and it has normal two speed switch...

My canister vacuum cleaners airflow performance

All my canister vacuum cleaners airflow power measured from the canister itself. I didn't measure the suction because differences in it are quite small (78-94 Inches Of Water) Who would know that the early 90's 1150w Lux has the same power what almost new 1600w Miele C3 has. Nilfisk GM80 has the...

    Are cordless vacuums overrated?

HUSHTONE CORDLESS UPRIGHT VACUUM Okay I just saw the link about the Hoover Hushtone and it indeed looks very good!

    Are cordless vacuums overrated?

Hoover/Vax Air Cordless is what I know very well. Simplicity Agogo and Lindhaus is new for me. My main point was that everyone seems to be over excited about stick vacuums. I just don't see them to be very convenient at all to replace the mains powered vacuums. Limit in the bin and battery size...

    Post your favorite bagless vacuums!

My favorite is now AEG / Electrolux Precision. It has massive airflow for a bagless vacuum (76 cfm from the nozzle), dual cyclone system keeps the pre motor filter clean a very long time. Manual height adjustment + very long cable and hose. Fully sealed hepa filtration.

Request to the Miele Company - Lightweight Upright Please

US should have this Vorwerk is the only upright what sells well in the Europe. It's light, maneuverable, very powerful, tons of attachments and fully sealed hepa filtration. Only con is that the hose is not onboard. Very much like the Sebo Felix, but lighter and more powerful.

    Are cordless vacuums overrated?

Shark Ion P50 I think that this Shark Ion P50 is the first real attempt to create upright with onboard tools. Yes yes I know that many hate Shark brand, but that's not my point. I have been waiting for a cordless upright because I just don't like limitations of the stick vacuums. Run time is...

    Kirby ultimate carpet cleaner?

Yes agitation and airflow is what Kirby knows the best. I have stiff oblique brushroll in it and I use hepa bags.

    Kirby ultimate carpet cleaner?

I have started a new cleaning ability test series. I have one clear narrow see through tube with 140 millimeters of sand what I put to the each vacuum. Carpet is always being reset with the Miele C3 & Sebo ET-1 ph. It has done excellent job doing that. So after I have made sure that the carpet...

Picked up a used DC50...am I expecting too much?

I have DC40 mkII (Ball 2 Multifloor). Pick up performance is good, but not good as the Sebo Felix. Overall I am quite pleased to it, but there is some things what bothers me. Handle is made of VERY flexible plastic. When I turn it the whole handle twists a lot before the vacuum starts to turn...

    More Airflow Tests Part II

Here is my AEG / Electrolux Precision BrushRoll Clean I got 76 nozzle cfm what is the highest what I have seen for a bagless vacuum. It has a diverter valve, so when the floorhead is in use air doesn't go through the hose. In the US it has 12 amp motor.

I think I’m sticking to bagged

What I hate about the bagless vacuums is the dust cloud when emptying. I mean it sticks to everything. Outside of the bin gets dusty and so does the vacuum. After just one emptying vacuum looks dirty so being a vacuum cleaner collector this seriously bothers me. Yes the bin in most cases is easy...

    Favorite Straight Suction Vacuum made?

Miele C3 Quite simply the Miele C3. It just have everything what I want from the canister vacuum cleaner. In the Finland Miele has extremely good reputation and they sell well despite they aren't cheap. Picture taken from the Finnish "Gigantti" electronic appliances shop site. Price 299€.

    More airflow tests.

Miele with ET1 I made video about it. Just be very careful when connecting those Miele wires. You can break the circuit board if wrong wires are connected.

'Say Goodbye To Big Corded Vacuums'

With a modern technology Dyson could make a cordless Ball upright. Just a bigger battery and motor than in the V10. I really don't like the idea of stick vacuum. Dust capacity is small and if they make it bigger it comes very top heavy. In the Ball upright weight will be on the floor and not in...

    Bag/bagless observations

Small clip from my old video. I like both style vacuums, but the bagged vacuums are just way more powerful

    Bag savers have huge differences

I have two different types of bag saver attachments. One is much bigger made in Sweden by Electrolux and another is much smaller made in China. Some time ago I measured huge loss of airflow from the Chinese bag saver and thought they are not worth much. Yesterday I decided to test my bigger...

Best Hard Floor Attachment of ALL Time

Twinner is my ultimate favorite for the hard floors. It doesn't snowplow at all, it's very thin and moves easily to all directions. It uses glider pads instead of wheels. Possibly not the best option for the crevice test. It fits to 35 and 32 millimeter pipes...
