So, I discovered that a waterflosser is precise and high-precision enough to wash out gunk in little crevices (like a fan). It’s a good alternative to an air compressor when you don’t have one or don’t have access to one.

I have access to an air compressor but not an electric flooser, quite interesting. I use an old central vac motor on a 32mm hose with a basic central vac hose end that has some duct tape wrapped around it to increase its outside diameter. then I use a crevice tool and blast away. Incredibly effective.
