Filter Queen M11NA

So, I got a Filter Queen from goodwill online Auction. $82 after taxes and Shipping. The brush roller was damaged. So I replaced it. Cleaned up the power nozzle while I had it open. Replaced all the filters. New scent pad, and noise reduction pad. Kind of a rush since parts arrived yesterday, and I have a Kirby Legend 2 arriving Thursday. Anyways, here are a few pictures.

Sure wish there was a way to fit a bag to one of these. I wonder if a Numatic or shop vac bag spout could be adapted?

I'm not sure. I question how the cyclone vacuum would be able to work.

The hose inlet inside the canister would likely have to be replaced. What ever it is replaced with would have to be made to fit on a similar curve. Then, what ever bag attaches to the new inlet would need to be able to fit inside the canister.
Obviously, couldn't use a filter cone with a bag, so monitoring the motor pre filter would be more important. Plus, careful cleaning after removing a old bag to eliminate dirt and dust.

At one brief time FQ offered a bag attached under the cone that did require an adapter on the inlet.Was NLA before I knew about it.Others may know more.

Ah, look at that! Never saw the inside of one before. That diverter would have to be removed and the holes filled. Not simple. Oh well, it was an idea.

Most have either a slot for a dust bag mounting card to slide into centered over the hose opening or a spout like a Henry has where you squeeze the rubber seal of the bag mounting card over it.

That's a very nice find! Would love to find the green version of that someday since I know I've seen pictures of one on here, must be a limited edition model.

Another issue if you remove the existing inlet, you would have to figure out how to attach the power hose to the vacuum. Since the hose isn't compatible with other vacuums, that may be tricky to resolve.

erformance Reviews did modify a Filter Queen Optima to take Numatic Henry bags by attaching a Henry bag tube. I think he likely left the Filter Queen side on the front though to still use the Filter Queen hose and attachments.

If you had a Filter Queen Optima that originally took the paper bags, converting it to use Henry bags would be a good idea for the better filtration, especially since the Optima bags are long discontinued. However, doing this on a model that DID use the cones originally wouldn't be such a good idea, as the bag would be restricted from expanding fully in the bin.

Maybe you could talk to Sam Watson. He fitted a bag to his triple crown. I will link his video. I have a majestic 360 and always wondered whether I could make it bagged.

I wish you could use either bagless or bagged , I wish I could use mine bagged.

Leave it to Beko to come up with a way to mount a bag in a Filter Queen.

On a side note, I suckered myself
Into buying generic exhaust silencing filters. When I went to replace the existing one, I realized the generic was about half the height of a genuine, so I used 2.
In my defense, the description of the generic filter called it batting, so, was hoping it would be like the old cotton batting filters. Needless to say, it was not.

That’s a shame. Foam compresses though so it is very easy to cut or add more.

Well, the pack I got came with 3, so easy to replace 1, or try and fit a third in the machine
