Sanitaire S490A -- Original Power Nozzle?

A little plea to our European cousins. If anyone has a wiring schematic for an Electrolux Z457, the vacuum on which the Sanitaire S490A is based, or has some photos of what wire goes where on the main board I would be deeply appreciative. Thanks.

How many Sanitaire Service Centers did you contact? In the past when I've searched for items (albeit unrelated to surface care appliances) I have contacted different ones until I've achieved my mission. I find it hard to believe that if you took your S490A to a SSC that the techs would not know how to get it working. Some service manuals likely were not tossed or shredded when Bissell took over, and when found were probably copied and distributed to the service centers.

Of course, another option would just be to request an owner of an S490A or Z457 to take photos of the wiring for you.

Have only one from the Electrolux Z490 (Automatic power control)

The only Sanitaire service center I know of didn't know how. The guy had it two or three weeks and could not figure it out. There is literally no literature on them any more and because so few were sold you don't find anyone who has any experience with them.

Maybe the owner of this S490A will take some photos of the wiring for you:

Btw, I called several stores, including out of state, to locate the item I wanted. Where there's a will there's a way.

One thing that is a head scratcher for me is that the on-off switch has three wires going to it. Hot from the cord winder to the switch, but two from the switch to where? Or is it switching ground? There aren't that many wires that reach that far back in the vacuum. The two motor leads, the two leads off the cord winder and maybe one other. Do you know how the Z490 is wired? It might help me suss out my Z457 / S490A problem.

They came with the Vibragroomer. It is a 1980s rebadge of the Electrolux Z457, made in Germany.
For the fun of it, I did a bag search and found the following models used the same style. That's not to say that they were all identical in overall design to the S490 and Z457 but there may be a few others on the listing that are.

There are synthetic microfiber HEPA dust bags for these available in Europe.

I wasn't sure if you had figured out your wiring, so I thought you could do some online searches to try to find another model number that matches the S490A and Z457, and maybe one of them would have a wiring diagram posted online.
