New Maytag Satellite/Hoover Constellation with UK plug **HELP**

I don’t know what motor that Satellite has, but if you know its model number, you may be able to find a data sheet for it. Some data sheets (Ametek ones at least) have a chart that shows how many watts the motor pulls depending on the orifice. So if you looked at how many watts it would pull...

New Maytag Satellite/Hoover Constellation with UK plug **HELP**

HuskyVacs and EurekaPrince, how many watts are the devices that you are using with your transformers rated for? If you’ve used 2000 watt cleaners before with yours, then it’s obviously fine. While I do like to think that I have decent knowledge when it comes to electricity, I am most certainly...

End of an Era for Cana-Vac

Ohhhh, okay. I apologize for the misunderstanding. I thought that you were referring to the motor setup and not the housing setup. I apologize. Yeah, I'm not sure what to think of it. Their new logo is a bit too modern for my liking. Yeah, no, it's not visible on their website and totally looks...

New Maytag Satellite/Hoover Constellation with UK plug **HELP**

Hi Ethan, Congratulations on your purchase! I'm a little jealous! I really like those Maytag Satellites. I love the modern twist on an old classic with the stainless steel. I wish that they had released them here too. I do see your conundrum with the UK plug. Typically, yes, you would just...

End of an Era for Cana-Vac

Yeah, hopefully. I'll definitely look around. It would be great if a dealer in Canada started carrying MD. Hopefully one day. Nice! I love the S3200. They sure are beasts. It would be hard for anyone in the neighborhood to beat that. I would love to have one in my home. No, they are defintely...

End of an Era for Cana-Vac

Probably. But I would probably be paying an arm and a leg for international shipping. The last time I wanted to ship just an upright vacuum, it was something like $300. I'd be scared to know what it would cost for a central vacuum! Whereas I do have both a local VacuMaid and Vacuflo distributor...

End of an Era for Cana-Vac

Believe it or not, that was actually one of my ideas! I do actually think that the VacuMaid S2700 with a bagged canister after the cyclonic separator would be perfect or an SR800 with a cyclonic separator. It's the best of both worlds. There would be a canister that I can just empty without...

End of an Era for Cana-Vac

I would agree that Cana-Vac was middle class. I do agree that Trovac is one of the top manufacturers of central vacuums. I have one of their units and it is great. I would highly recommend their products also. I just wish that they kept the 8.4" model. I am not sure what I will pick next now...

Do you remember your household vacs?

Here is a descriptive list of vacuums, as I cannot remember their exact models. My parents: 1) My parents had a blue straight suction canister of some sort when I was born in 2001. Sadly, that is all I know. She stopped using it when I was very young (when she got her new vacuum) and sold it...

End of an Era for Cana-Vac

Yeah. Doesn't the Cyclovac 7525 with the dual motors also have 7.2" motors even though it isn't an HD series? The Thoro-Vac GTP240 (a local rebrand) would be the equivalent to the 7525 and that one does have 7.2" motors also... although two of them. But that means that they do have a body that...

End of an Era for Cana-Vac

For those of you that do not already know, Cana-Vac was bought out by Trovac Industries. (The company that owns Cyclo-Vac) Unofrtunately, that meant changes to their product line. Their product line is completely refreshed. They still have their "Cana-Vac"/"Ethos" series with flow-thru motors...

Rare Miele Model "A" for Sale

For anyone that is interested, I saw this vintage Miele Model "A" tank vacuum from the 50s for sale on Etsy. It looks absolutely gorgeous. I had actually never seen a Miele model like this before coming across this listing. According to the listing, it works, but only includes the hose and...

What vacuums do you hope will come out in 2024?

I was hoping the BP60 would be available here too. But Sebo said that they are hoping it will be available here next year. (At least in Canada.) So that’s exciting! We do currently have a Sebo CE12 which is a corded version of the BP60, but I’m not sure if it’s available in the US. I would...

Does anyone want a Hoover Concept Two?

Yeah, it is. It’s too bad that shipping costs so much. Oh yes, of course, I totally understand. I would not have expected you to want it anymore with a cost like that. It most certainly isn’t worth anywhere near that much. But again, I appreciate your interest in it and your reaching out.

Does anyone want a Hoover Concept Two?

Huskyvacs, I do apologize that it has been several days. I did mean to go out to check on Tuesday when I went out, but the weather was bad and I didn’t want to go anywhere else that day. Then I will admit that I completely forgot about it until the weekend, as I was preoccupied with other...
