Belt lifter has been serviced and works smoother. The task was fairly simple. I buffed the hook with a brass wire brush and did not need to spray with lacquer as originally anticipated. All parts were cleaned with WD40 and wiped dry, assembled and job is complete. For a vac that's run often...

Appreciation Thanks for your reply...I'll try it today. You're right it is hard to see. The smaller of two wires, coming from the headlight, has to have a connection somewhere on the switch. That is what I cannot locate. Stay tuned for the news later today or tomorrow.

Photo shows the right side of the chassis where three large connectors are fine. But there is a smaller connector with a female tab and I cannot locate it's match. The schematic from www.vacpartswarehouse.com is difficult to discern on this item. Please guide me. Thanks.[this post was last...
