I have taken this unit apart to access and clean the switch. I am stumped for removing upper section from base. All screws are Torx head. Need to remove inspect and check Electrical switch. Customer said it would not run but it does run with no problems. I'll change filters when reassembling...
I found that ereplacementparts.com has a back order for this
Late yesterday April 7 I phoned the team at www.ereplacementparts.com. They have a back order in process for part number 48414021. The price is $45.00...quite high for a roller but it will be made sometime soon. For any forum members...
This self propelled vac used one of three agitator brushes: 48414004, 48414013 or 48416009. I need a new one to replace the worn bristled original.

The task was fairly simple. I buffed the hook with a brass wire brush and did not need to spray with lacquer as originally anticipated. All parts were cleaned with WD40 and wiped dry, assembled and job is complete. For a vac that's run often...
Model variations and a search for legacy of the Heritage

Following full disassembly Thursday evening I found the port
Complete take down revealed the square port with a male tab inside, just right of the Switch Mounting tab (screw hole). Even though this was right under my nose I could not find it until I got this far. Now the crud in the case will...
Appreciation
Thanks for your reply...I'll try it today. You're right it is hard to see. The smaller of two wires, coming from the headlight, has to have a connection somewhere on the switch. That is what I cannot locate. Stay tuned for the news later today or tomorrow.
Photo shows the right side of the chassis where three large connectors are fine. But there is a smaller connector with a female tab and I cannot locate it's match. The schematic from www.vacpartswarehouse.com is difficult to discern on this item. Please guide me. Thanks.[this post was last...
