Did you ever get your problem ironed out with your Cyclovac? We've sold them for years and have had a lot of trouble with PCB's. The hoses have improved and so have the PCB's. Unfortunately there are no machines left with the old transformer/relay motor start...I wish there was :(

Cyclovac I'm not sure if they're available in the states, but the Cyclovac is a great choice. I've seen them private labeled as a Riccar in the states. Check them out...bag or filter types, quiet machines, metal construction. I'm sorry to say your Aerus is an old school, old technology...

Hi there! I'm also a new member, and lover of the Electrolux, particularly the AP280. I have an original from 1981 and it's wonderful. All original, except for the cloth hose. Been re-built and cleaned and tuned up of course.
