I think it was one of the Spectrum models. This looks like the very early 90’s line up. Powermax canisters came out around 1993.

My Legacy’s The one on the right is from 1992 before they called started calling that model the Legacy Supreme. The one on the left is from 1998. The last of the Legacy’s.

I have that model. It’s one of the last Legacy’s from 1998. It’s next to one of the earlier models from 1992.

I prefer my single speed E-Series to use daily. It’s motor sounds pleasant compared to the whine of the 2 speed. Also easier to frequently empty, and pull compaired to a D4. That being said the D4 is still my favorite for nostalgia and looks.

I believe I have also seen that model in Service Merchandise catalogs. Will look and see.

I have a Electrolux Ultralux Classic that is in great shape cosmetically for a 30 year old vacuum. Except the power nozzle is constantly on even when the unit is switched off. I took it apart and all the wires seem to be connected correctly. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated!

That was a Sears exclusive line.

I have a Hoover Powermax that uses the 3 prong hose but has the variable speed on the canister itself. I finally found a 3 prong hose but it also has the variable speed on the handle. I don’t won’t to mess anything up due to being a sentimental vacuum. So I was hoping if anyone had any...

Shame about the condition it’s in. Here it is new in the Service Merchandise catalog from ‘92/‘93.

It’s just hard to believe the 90’s is now 30 years ago. I can’t remember the last time I saw an Elite thrifting heck I never see original bagged Bissell Powerforces anymore. Just time marching on I guess.

I saw that 1205 on eBay also. It did seem to be in good condition. Hate that your having issues. I’ve give up on eBay. Unless from a few members that sell on there. I’ll stick to thrifting and curb funds where I can actually see the machine in person.
