riccar uprights are outstanding....but i agree that the rads are a pia to work on but ive yet to have any problems with mine as of yet. not a fan of their canisters tho...have yet to ever use or work on a meile vac of any kind....but would love to test/use one for a bit...break it down and check...

Overall a good vacuum....simple and easy to use and work on. Nice job on short to med pile carpet,but the xl-21 is a little better than the standard xl series.just a little pricey when new.

I like the orecks,from commercial low to med pile carpet...they do a good job.Ive found them and mine to be quite durable overall,but overpriced when new . Nice to have around for quick clean-ups before or after company..ect.My XL was a trade in from back in 2005,wish i could get my hands on the...

Outstanding choice my friend....an excellent deep cleaner it is.Far better a deep cleaner than most at twice to triple the cost..cant go wrong at that price. riccarstar
