    I finally got a steamer!

Chase... I myself was thinking of the mint green Bissell or even the gray color that Target has available. I don't know why but I am not attracted to the Sweep and Steam one. I also think that for the price difference between the regular steamer and the Sweep and Steam, I would purchase the...

    I finally got a steamer!

Fred... I am going to ask the million dollar question: Why did you deciede to purchase a Haan Steamer versus another brand (Bissell, etc...)? I am looking into getting one and have been caught by the Bissell. Tell me what you think! Clayton :)

    Turbocat powerheads

We have the Turbocat at work It works ok. But keep in mind that with the strecth hose and a turbo head, the hose is going to be very difficult to use. Clayton :)

    "Light weight" Vacuum for Grandma?

What about... The cheap Bissell bagged upright at Walmart. Granted it's not the Cadillac of vacuums but for a cheap vac, they sure can take a beating! Clayton :)

    this is getting old!

That's why you gotta love your Dyson... I took my DC17 to our rental this weekend. Spending almost 9 hours cleaning, but that's a different conversation. Anyways, the carpets were professonially cleaned Friday. I was amazed at the dirt the came up from vacuuming. I guess when you live in a...

    Brushroll Dilemma

The brush strips are replacable but are a royal pain to replace. I have a feeling that replacing the strips is just covering up a bigger problem that will reappear. We also have trouble with the metal rollers because of the salt in winter. The commercial runners get vacuumed with tons of salt on...

    Brushroll Dilemma

Ok, so I had to replace the brushroll on our commercial Simplicity at my church a few months back. Well, low and behold, the bristles are worn down already (after about 3 months). Now granted, it is a very tough commercial carpet and there is miles and miles of it, but a brushroll only lasting a...

    Bissell's Model Names..

Isn't that crazy? How hard is it to come up with a new name for a vacuum? :P Did you see the new Big Green carpet cleaner on their site? Clayton http://www.bissell.com/Big-Green-Deep-Cleaning-Machine/

    Shark Navigator

My aunt bought one... And we all know how it works when a relative buys a new vac. We are FORCED to go over to assemble it and give it a test run ;). I thought it was an OK vacuum. I myself wouldn't get one for a few reasons: 1. It doesn't do well on bare floors-the suction is unevenly...

    My Latest Vac Purchase...

I've also thought the same thing with the handle issue.. I believe that the DC23 Turbohead allows you to detach the handle all the way. Very sharp looking DC27 by the way! Clayton :)

So I am getting a new Dyson..

I know I might sound like a gold-digger saying this but... I would go for the most expensive one! If your Dad is buying, why not take advantage of the oppertunity? I think that the DC17/DC27 might be too rough on shag. Mine works wonderful but the bristles are very tough, too tough for shag if...

    Shampooing Berber Carpet ?

We have berber too... I always just use the Steam Vac about once a year (although I think it's been almost 2 :/). I always thought the results were good. But as mentioned, it's nothing compared to the professional results. If only we could all afford truck mounts! ;) Clayton
