    I had plenty of other vacs that need my attention, and normally it takes me longer then just two evenings to finish a project, but this baby took priority over the rest! I could not be happier with the finished product.

    I have the dc 28 and use it on a daily basis. I have the same carpet as you do and also really thick rugs and it performs wonderfully on both.
