I had plenty of other vacs that need my attention, and normally it takes me longer then just two evenings to finish a project, but this baby took priority over the rest! I could not be happier with the finished product.

The power nozzle turned out great.

It had very few scuffs or scratches and polished up perfectly with some PlastX.

The tools appear to have had little use if any.

Yesterday I visited a vac shop I had never been to, and I found a Dimension 1000 that had my name written all over it! I have wanted one of these for a long time but it seems anytime that I have come across one it looked like it had been to hell and back or all or part of it did not function...

I have the dc 28 and use it on a daily basis. I have the same carpet as you do and also really thick rugs and it performs wonderfully on both. The brush roll has longer stiffer bristles and the airmuscle pulls the head of the vacuum deeper into the carpet. I think you will be very pleased with...

I picked this up on EBay a while back. It is in great shape and all it needed was a good cleaning which I finally got around to doing this evening.It is a model U 4313. Can any of you Hoover experts tell me how old it is? Thanks!

color Patrick- The color is what convinced me I needed to buy it! When my American Express bill came just this morning I thought did I really need to buy that just because of the color? I quickly decided of course I did! : )
