    Dollhouse vacuum cleaner.

Hi aussie-plugs. I have one of those also. Had it for ages. Mine had a yellow tube for the cord so I changed it to something more realistic. Embroidery floss. Looks better this way.

    Dollhouse vacuum cleaner.

A few more angles. I added the little ball to the top of the handle. Top of a dressmakers pin. The little spring holding the bag is so neat. How people make these replicas is amazing with attention to detail. I would like to know roughly when this was made as I cannot say I have ever...

    Dollhouse vacuum cleaner.

There seems to be a variety of cleaners for dollhouse collectors on the market. Mostly cheap examples unfortunately. Are there any rare ones out there?? I have one and am not sure if any others were made as it is artisan made.

    My Newest Addition

Hello Hoover300. He is more of a light cream colour. The old paint was just too worn. I would have kept him the way he was but spent too many years in Nan's attic. She got him at a local auction house in the late 60s. Kirkcem is the seller. He has parts for your 375 that come on his page...

    My Newest Addition

I call him Melvin. I am guessing he was reconditioned sometime in the early 60s. The tool set I got unused but the hose was stiff so replaced it with an early 60s hoover hose. Looks great funny enough. Looks like it was made for him. A few pics before respray

    My Newest Addition

Hi hoover 300. Glad to see a great cleaner doing the pond hop. Your estimation on year sounds about right. Belts for this are now almost impossible to find outside eBay. Kirkcem was a engineer for years and he sells parts for this model. I have bought belts and carbon brushes from him. I...

Time To Trim the Kirby 2C

Hi VacMadMan. I love the Kenmore Bugeye. I have seen this pic before and never realised the bumper was a replacement. I would have put it down to the original if not known. It looks great. I have seen many of these old Kenmore models but have never seen one with an attachment set. Must be...

    1930s Apex Toy Cleaner restoration

Hi dysonman1. I would love to see this find a new home in the museum if it is for sale and if you don't already have one. To myvacsrock. You did a great job with this and the other restos you have done.

Is it possible to make a Junior 1334 top fill?

Hello. I would check ebay. I would think a U1012 top fill would work. You could cut to the desired length and possibly fit inside the original bottom fill tube on yours. I managed to convert my post war junior 375 to use paper bags. Works great. Gary.

Hi. I used to be an avid collector but had to give up as I moved to a small park home so have no room. I do have 2 though.

An old friend returns!!! Yeah.😀😀😀 Melvin.

It came with the gray bag when I first got it so have always known it with that one. I guess it is the way it should stay. This is a reconditioned example that would have been for sale in dept stores and small electric retailers in the 60s and 70s. This was a testament to how well made these...

Or black. If handle grip was black I would have said yes but like the gray grip as it is not very common these days. As as before Melvin has his own identity and I guess he should stay as he is. Hope everyone likes the photos of my best household friend🙂🙂.
