Now don't worry not vacuums were harmed... this vacuum could easyly be turned back into a vacuum, i just took the motor out and stuck a lamp in with a filterqueen wand over the lamp pole... Ive wired the lamp up so the power switch on the filter queen now turns the lamp on and off and the cord...

Awe thankyou for the info on the brush clip :) i turned it around on purpous on purpous lol i was useing it for my cord when i was having troubles with my cord winder and just never put it back lol and i look it was infact 1961 thankyou :) all these vacuums are gorgous :)

What i would do it i would use some sort of bag freshner juring the vacuuming of his mothers house and then still change the bag right away! best of luck :)
