Now don't worry not vacuums were harmed... this vacuum could easyly be turned back into a vacuum, i just took the motor out and stuck a lamp in with a filterqueen wand over the lamp pole... Ive wired the lamp up so the power switch on the filter queen now turns the lamp on and off and the cord...

Awe thankyou for the info on the brush clip :) i turned it around on purpous on purpous lol i was useing it for my cord when i was having troubles with my cord winder and just never put it back lol and i look it was infact 1961 thankyou :) all these vacuums are gorgous :)

What i would do it i would use some sort of bag freshner juring the vacuuming of his mothers house and then still change the bag right away! best of luck :)

i think im going to do that :) ive took an old filter queen power switch and modifyed it so i could turn it on and off, i got rather annoyed haveing to turn the vacuum off everytime i needed to turn the pn off for a second lol and no problem its so beautiful :) what year is it?

im thinking of just going with the plain crome look or just leaveing it and finding another origional pn to go with it at some point :P because i SUCK a painting lol on another note ive got an attachment ring for the top yesterday :D

i agree :) i just want to paint it because there are some huge scraches on the top of the black pn that you cant see in pictures and its been bothering me because the vac is beautiful and scrach free and the scraches sticks like a sore thumb to me lol And i agree i love the old lux's but the...

ture i could try that but today ive made modifycations to the pn i wired a power swich on the top of it... so i think its to late for that now... altho the modification looks factory done,
