Charlie.. I think the obvious thing to do with the dirt from the Dyson dust cup would be to put it in the kitchen trash can and empty it. Thats what I do when I use my Dyson. The only reason we put it out on newspaper at Stans was so that we could take a picture of the dirt. Derreck
