Can anyone identify a vacuum by a handle?

The Allen town sweeper company in Indiana. I was there after it was long gone and even that was more than a couple years ago.

    Better than a carpet washer!

You must be laughing your ass off. You give out wrong information to get a thrill!

    Better than a carpet washer!

I would rather use a carpet shampooer extractor on dog piss. A damp cloth will not clean up dog piss, vomit on carpet.

    Electrolux EPIC 6000 doesn't run , the ? light flashes !

Could be the valve for the bag. There is a youtube video showing you how to remove the internal hose or replace the bag lockout valve. Just search youtube for how to change an electrolux 6500 SR control valve. If the bag full light comes on this is your problem.

Need help with my Singer System vacuum

I have taken quite a few of those apart. Make sure the field coil lines up the notch at the bottom of the base housing. The belt pulley should screw back on you will have to reach underneath it to screw it back in. Also, make sure the washers are in the correct position if you took those off...

    Rare Singer??

Yes, it's based on the one-fan Singer Simon. Same base. Marketed as light weight. Durning that time Heavy Duty was common labeling like today's no loss of suction. Marketing gimmick.

    RIP old Vacuumland.

No one has explained (or I didn't see the post). about pricing. Right, now it says I've been upgraded until June 14. After that it's $200.00 per year. Surely, that is a mistake. Can you elaborate?

    RIP old Vacuumland.

Robert, I sent it to your unimatic1140 address. I know email gets lost easily. I was just irritated I didn't get a response. I didn't push it because I didn't think it would be nice. I just re-forwarded them to you. Not that it matters now anyway. Kenny

    RIP old Vacuumland.

VacuumLand was given to Robert back in 2013 by our former president who is now deceased. The club membership did...

    Is this website legitimate?

I’ve been there. It’s a shop in KC MO. It’s a junk yard and the owner is not very friendly. Unfortunately. I wouldn’t get my hopes up.

    Hoover plastic Convertible

I saw another plastic based convertible on eBay with the rare in the title. My mother had that model when I was born she got it as a wedding present in 1983. Not rare at all! I’ve had at least two of them and currently own one in good condition. I gave one to Jon Durfor at the convention last...

    Singer R3 Restoration

Well, mine doesn’t look as good as Kyle’s. I found a belt that would work a Hoover dam belt. And I jury rigged a height adjuster. The brush roll is removed by pressing two buttons in. It took me a while to figure that out. Is the brush roll adjustable for wear? Maybe someone that has a manual...

    Singer R3 Restoration

Question number two What would you recommend for a belt? And I’ll have to jurry rig a height adjuster. I wonder why they made these unnecessarily large. It’s nicely styled, but has a decent sized footprint on the floor.
