    RIP old Vacuumland.

No one has explained (or I didn't see the post). about pricing. Right, now it says I've been upgraded until June 14. After that it's $200.00 per year. Surely, that is a mistake. Can you elaborate?

    RIP old Vacuumland.

Robert, I sent it to your unimatic1140 address. I know email gets lost easily. I was just irritated I didn't get a response. I didn't push it because I didn't think it would be nice. I just re-forwarded them to you. Not that it matters now anyway. Kenny

    RIP old Vacuumland.

Yeah, it kind of feels a relative dying. Things change nothing stays the same. But still UGH!!!

    RIP old Vacuumland.

This SUCKS!!! and not in a good way. I emailed Robert when he first announced that he was retiring about the possibly of the Vacuum Cleaner Collector’s club buying VacuumLand back. VacuumLand was given to Robert back in 2013 by our former president who is now deceased. The club membership did...

    Is this website legitimate?

I’ve been there. It’s a shop in KC MO. It’s a junk yard and the owner is not very friendly. Unfortunately. I wouldn’t get my hopes up.

    Hoover plastic Convertible

I saw another plastic based convertible on eBay with the rare in the title. My mother had that model when I was born she got it as a wedding present in 1983. Not rare at all! I’ve had at least two of them and currently own one in good condition. I gave one to Jon Durfor at the convention last...

    Singer R3 Restoration

Well, mine doesn’t look as good as Kyle’s. I found a belt that would work a Hoover dam belt. And I jury rigged a height adjuster. The brush roll is removed by pressing two buttons in. It took me a while to figure that out. Is the brush roll adjustable for wear? Maybe someone that has a manual...

    Singer R3 Restoration

Question number two What would you recommend for a belt? And I’ll have to jurry rig a height adjuster. I wonder why they made these unnecessarily large. It’s nicely styled, but has a decent sized footprint on the floor.

    Eureka Model 1414 Bicentennial Edition

Eureka Bicentennial Paul, Thanks for posting the info. I’m almost positive the Eureka that I purchased on eBay a couple of months ago is the same one that you have pictured above. It was a knee jerk reaction when I saw it listed. Even though I prefer Hoover over Eureka. I do like the...

Vacuum Cleaners in Montgomery Wards & JCP Catalogs

Reply #14, item G My grandparents had the yellow convertible in reply G. They gave it to me at a young age. I don't remember what happened to it. Do you know what the model number is?

The horrible truth about central vacuum systems and why every non-Canadian millennial hates them.

Or central vacs owners got tired of dragging out the long hose and bought another vac. That would be the most obvious answer. Either way I don't care. Just thought I would mention it. Collectors are a different breed! Myself included. I don't think our experiences would align with the average...

1994 Regina Housekeeper plus 8.4 amp

I have several of the L shaped models. I'm happy you made a Hepa bag. The originals are single ply and the cleaner loses suction within minutes. I need to do that with mine.
