Kirby Classic Omega. Has a certain classiness to it, I dunno if it's the woodgrain or the gold bag.

I see Electrolux and Hoover are runners up to Kirby in your collection. :) I presume those are all from the Era of Cleaner you grew up with? heh I do that too, anything older than 60s and newer than 80s doesn't interest me whatsoever.

I had told you before, and you said the same thing ;p But go me fixing the electronics eh? I reckon the cleaner must have been damaged in transit.

Caffeine addiction, i'm more or less totally dependant. :P The cleaner buzzes a little but I imagine that's it's natural noise, it's only a small motor afterall...we managed to fix the electronic power control too.

So pleased, and to think I was going to sell it on ebay for spares. It was simply a matter of blowing the rubbish out of the motor, superglueing this bit which had broken off and come loose..that was probably causing the noise and vibrations. The burning smell has gone too, am celebrating with...

Hah, and to think one guy I was talking to ages ago about these things laughed when I thought the Turbomaster would have made a good commercial vac. :P The domestic version was enough of a beast.

I bet it still works PERFECTLY too. :) Lovely clean 70s design. My favorite would have to be the two Nationals (again Matsushita/Panasonic) though..the big orange one and the orange and white one, very period.

Meh if I can read the words just fine, everyone can Alan. :P Kudos to Matsushita for sticking to their guns cloth bag wise, economical..what the customer wants.

I see some very old Panasonic cleaners :), (lol yes me and Alan who posted his Hoover Celebrity) are both pretty big fans of that brand. Ian
