    What Happened To FantomTechGuy

Greetings. Time. It's the only factor between success and failure. Learning from past endeavors, and understanding what's truly important. "We all want to make our mark. We all want to make beautiful things and a little money. We all have our own ideas about how to do it." -James Dyson

    Deep Clean Agitation Test Ideas

The way I test Vacuum Preformance What I have done is pretty simple. I went to my local hardware store and purchased a medium sized area rug. I made sure the type of pile was a mixture of "not too tall but not too short" if that makes sense. For tests I use rice because it's the perfect size...

    Fantom Fury overheating very quickly

Electroluxxxx Thank you for asking for an update. Over the past few months, I've had a very busy lifestyle which had caused me to move this project to only when I have free time to work on it. I have been designing many new types of concepts. The concepts are still being worked on and I will...

What do you think about Oreck Vacuums?

kirby519 The vacuum you're referring to is the Oreck Halo. I thought it was a pretty good machine, but the Halo Vacuum was bought by Oreck. I have the early edition before they were sold to Oreck.

Hank... I will say, the XL21 is my favorite Oreck. I really like the design of it.

What do you think about Oreck Vacuums?

Greetings! So, I've been repairing vacuum cleaners for a long time. I mostly deal with Fantoms, but I do like other brands of vacuums too. I have come across a lot of Oreck vacuums and I personally do not like them. Here's why: 1. Orecks are all the same; each model is the same, the only...

    Fantom Fury on eBay

Eh... I was about to buy that exact one, but it turns out that Fury was a trash picked vacuum. The ebay seller has a YouTube channel and talked about it. I have no problem with people refurbishing trash picked vacuums, but they should at least mention that it came from the trash and was...

    Fantom Thunder on Ebay

Well... Since I've been refurbishing Fantom vacuum cleaners for a very long time, it's with my professional opinion to opt out on buying this Thunder. I've had many cases like this where people bring me their Thunder complaining about a "loud motor noise". There are two main factors for this...

    RE: Funnynet1231

tazcatsdad and huskyvacs Wow! Those are great machines! What a deal! And to add, yes I do believe people now a days don't feel like repairing their machines for daily maintenance. I've repaired countless vacuum cleaners for people who abuse the living heck out of their machines. I've had...

    Dyson Light Ball design fault

Not surprising... Dyson's problem is trying to look more modern, more slick and cutting edge. Vacuum cleaners now are made to look good and not to work good. If they would look at how it preforms rather than how it looks then Dyson vacuums would be better to use.

    I bought a shark nv356E, should I return it?

I think a good choice would be a canister vacuum. Most canister vacuums come with multiple floor attachments for both hardwood and carpeting. Since it's not an upright, you can easily place it on the stairs without any trouble. I would recommend in purchasing a Kenmore brand canister. I've...

    RE: Funnynet1231

yes I agree That is a true statement. If you take care of something it will last. Out of curiosity, I looked up suction fans for Sanitaires, and my results were shocking! I have an old Sanitaire and the fan on it is very big and made of metal. But looking at the new fans, they are clear cheap...
