Will the Electromotor 6500-298 fit in the Electrolux 1521 (Diamond Jubilee)? I need to replace the motor but wasn't sure which would be the best match.

Sears hasn't owned the Kenmore brand since 2018. Transformco owns it. They license the Kenmore name.

It looks like they have returned the hose swivel at the machine end as well. I'm just glad they are still being built even if they're not the best canister around. An average bagged canister is still better than the best bagless upright, or worse, stick vac.

Congratulations! I installed the Electravalve inlets myself and it was very easy and straightforward. The Supervalve inlet may be more complicated.

Yeah I'd like the most powerful motor that can fit. I remember someone on here mentioning that the motor used in the Perfect/Clean Obsessed Electrolux clone had better performance than the original. Does anyone know the model of that motor?

It's making a metal on metal raspy sound rather than the classic Electrolux low humming sound. So that's why I was thinking it likely needs a new motor.
