What happened to the UK members?

I think the main reason is because this platform is so dated. I do check in now and again but not nearly as much as I used to.

1993 Numatic Henry HVR 200 With Optional Turbo Electric TE290 Power Head

VacuumDevil It’s a lovely machine. In great shape too. The power head performs really well, makes it so much better on carpet. I did make a final video of it.

1993 Numatic Henry HVR 200 With Optional Turbo Electric TE290 Power Head

Ahh, my first post in probably 10 years! Lots has happened since I last graced VacuumLand! To break the fast, I thought I would show you the latest vac in my collection, it is this lovely, classic, Numatic Henry, from the 1990s. This model I got off eBay for £69, it was in pretty good...

For sale - Kirby Legend Heritage II - Mint Complete. UK

HuskyVacs They are very common over here, funnily enough, just not many UK collectors really collect them because they are a bit big and uninteresting to many of us, most collectors have at least one though or have had one. They are very good vacuum cleaners though, all the same.

Restoring Yellowed Hoover Convertible Cleaner Head - Leave It In The Sun!

Cuffs054/TheSpiritOf76 Thanks a lot, really impressed with the results! 😃😍 Huskyvacs I have read that it goes back to the way it was before over time, but what about if you kepts it stored in a cool dark place? I don’t understand how it can do that just on its own, as the brown tinge comes...

Restoring Yellowed Hoover Convertible Cleaner Head - Leave It In The Sun!

Hello all, I figured, since summer was here, I would restore some of the plastics on my vacuums that had turned yellow due to aging. The process may be familiar to some of you, known as “retro brighting”. All you really need for this is the hot direct UV raise of the sun, which for best...

1981 Hoover High Power Junior U1104 - Compelete With Cleaning Tools

They are nice, not quite as good, performance wise as the 60s and 70s Juniors but they work really well. I will do a demo soon, including the tools. ☺️

1981 Hoover High Power Junior U1104 - Compelete With Cleaning Tools

Vac-O-Matic The 80s Juniors had a pan converter, I suspect it was changed for safety reasons. We only had the Hoover double stretch hose in the UK. 🙂 Hoover were made by apountment to the queen! There was no toning it down! 😉😉

1981 Hoover High Power Junior U1104 - Compelete With Cleaning Tools

Hello all, Last week I rescued a little treasure off eBay...A Hoover High Power Junior model U1104, they called this style Junior "High Power" because they were 300w and not 250 like Juniors had been for many years prior...This particular example was hardly used, according to the seller and...

    Updated Numatic range

New management from a Domestic company is very evident...Numatic need a serious reality check in my opinion...Otherwise they will drive themselves into the ground.

    1970 Hoover Junior Dirtsearcher 1354A - Restoration

Lux14 The only think I painted was the Brushroll, which came up very well. 😁 The main machine is made of ABS plastic. I used black Satin spray paint to spray the brushroll, when you spray paint anything makensure younare in a well ventilated area, preferably outside...Make sure the metal...
