hey all, I found a eureka model 2325 A,its in pretty rough shape, I was wondering how far back this machine dates, im gonna guess and say early '70s maybe?

I like all vintage Hoovers, but I would say I like the convertible series the best because I grew up with convertibles. My parents had a model 719 when I was 2, My grandma had a U4005. Here they are in order, a model 70, model 1010, model U4057, model U4395.

must be nice to have, that is one of my dream machines as well. I only have one dial-a-matic, sadly.

I went to a restore a few weeks ago and found the first portable (forget the model), I passed it up since it was in rough shape and was missing some tools, I should of got it :/

hmm... I notice a slight difference in design, I guess one might be earlier then the other, or maybe its just me.

A couple months ago I went to a new flea market at deerfield circle and I found my first Hoover portable, a model 2200, so I bought it for $5. Yesterday I went to the flea market again and found another model 2200 in the same spot as the other one I found just two months ago!, odd huh? bought it...
