Hello folks, I was wondering if you knew, had a picture or have one of this big wheel Westinghouse? I got this a while back and it came with the correct dusting brush and the upholstery tool.
What I am hoping for is a picture of the correct crevice and floor tool. If you own any of those in addition to a manual (or copy of a manual), please let me know.
I think Montgomery Ward had a version of this vacuum. I may be mistaken.

Anything would be appreciated.

You just reminded me I have one of these, mine is teal. I THINK if you dig around in the archives someone here has posted their complete sets a long time ago on the site back in the 2000s.

The big wheel Westinghouse canister was their top-of-the-line model in the late 50's and early 60's, and yes, they did also make them for Montgomery Ward. I've seen both over the years in both color schemes, and it is one of the few machines still on my wish list. Huskyvacs is tight, you should be able to find some pictures and info in the archives.

I remember these pictures. Decades ago, there was one that color in a city south of me. I regret not getting it. I also wish I could see the two tools I am missing. If only one more picture had been taken showing the tools out of sight. Also, I always wanted the GE vacuum.

Found a couple! There are the two tools. If you have either in your orphan attachment tub, contact me.
Thanks all.
G.

The Westinghouse Mobile Speed Cleaner MC-1 was launched in 1957 in tan and mocha; and succeeded by the MC-4 in turquoise and gray in 1960. Montgomery Ward's Signature Big Wheel in Candlelight Yellow & White appeared later.

The revolving brush attachment was first made available in 1958.

Attached are some ads and the 1962 MW S/S catalog that shows a clear picture of the attachments.

It's the Mobile Speed Cleaner MC-1 that Westinghouse launched in 1957 in turquoise and gray; and updated in beige and dark brown a year later with the new revolving brush attachment (apparently keeping the same model ID). Montgomery Ward's Signature Big Wheel in Candlelight Yellow & White appeared later.

Thanks for posting those ads, I had no idea its' official name was "Mobile Speed Cleaner". That must be what "MC" in the model stands for? Mobile Cleaner.

This must be why it's rare. $69.95 in 1957 would be $808.53 today!

PS: it reminds me of the LEGO cleanup tool that I had when I was a kid.
