Model S ????Hi friends- does ANY ONE know where I can get a new set of motor brushes for Electrolux Model S? I have looked about everywhere & looks like I may need to try to get a pair or two custom made.

Wish they had sold them in the US with the Ze3 power nozzle instead of the Eureka nozzles they were sold with here.
Hi Tom and welcome to Vacuumland. I'm fairly certain that the Model S and Model G motors are the same along with others of the period. An option for you is to check with the seller of this eBay auction (unknown to me) or another that you may find. https://www.ebay.com/itm/256415947602?Hi friends- does ANY ONE know where I can get a new set of motor brushes for Electrolux Model S? Here they declared it as orange-brown in the overview and sold it from 1979-81.Regarding the color scheme of the 1978 to 1982 D Series models the 1978 Electrolux Group Annual Report referred to the colors as brick and black.
Interesting - it could be that there were no official color names, or that the colors were altered in 1979.Here they declared it as orange-brown in the overview and sold it from 1979-81.

I think it was made in the UK as it was mainly sold there with different models. I saw only the Z400 in Sweden. A friend of me has a D version. But i have never seen one. We had at the same time the German ones design like the Z457Was it made in the UK? I prowl the UK, German and Italian eBay sites on occasion looking for interesting treasure and am surprised how many seemingly unique to UK and UK made Electrolux models there were.
I'm really on a mission to find a Z457 I can use as a template to correctly rewire the US version, the Sanitaire S490A, an example of which I have but the wires fell off their posts on the main board : (
