Looks complete and restorable.
Trying to find out how old it is? There is a tag on the back of the Nozzle housing.
Is says MODEL 4 603, Serial Number 17J L 29307.
Watts 400.
Worth having or send to recycling?

The House was full of antiques. House was built in 1914. There was a Central Vacuum on the Wall that was really cool. It said: Kleen-O-Matic Co. - Jump up to Cleaner Living.

Thank you!

Kitra,

Welcome to VacuumLand!

Your model 603 was built during September 1971.

Pictures of this machine would help us determine whether or not this vacuum is worth keeping.

Took a few pictures. I've done not cleaning on it yet. Was in an old Garage sitting in the corner. Plugged it in and it runs.
Kitra,

Going by the model number 4-603, this would originally have had a blue bag reading "STARK SPECIAL" on the front.

Since you said that this machine runs perfectly, I recommend you hold onto it for now.

Definitely worth saving! You'll be amazed at how beautiful it will look after you finish cleaning it and polish it up! And you'll also find that it does an excellent job of cleaning! And Ben is right, the bag was replaced at some point. The one you have on it looks like a commercial bag. Here's a pic of mine, also with a replacement bag (to my knowledge).

Jeff,

That is correct about the bag being replaced on yours, also. The light blue bag I see here was taken from a model 870 Prince II upright circa 1987.
