This thread is a continuation of a discussion on thread 44672: https://vacuumland.org/threads/1980s-viking-241-electronic-canister-vacuum.44672/

The discussion piqued my curiosity about the AB Electrolux & Lux brand (and related companies) D/AP/S Series, so I searched for online information and landed on the Lux France page, that lists its past and current models. That led me down the Electrolux rabbit hole and creating the following data tables based on my findings. Updates invited.

Interesting that Sauber sold a version of the Intelligence with blue anodized skin like the D920 had. I have never seen that flavor. Also interesting that the chart shows the AC-11 Intelligence Classic having stainless steel skins. The France Purification shows it with blue skins.

The Lux blue version was the simpler one, without control on the handle and other electronic.
I‘m not sure, but probably the same version as the Aerus?

Thank you for your feedback. That may be an error on my part, or I possibly saw one from another country that was slightly different. The table, with the exception of the Lux France information and NZ information posted by Elliott, is based on my observations and comments I read online at this site and others—instead of company literature—so less than 💯% for sure. That's why, I welcome updates and discussion that will help the table be as accurate as possible over time.

One item that was surprising is that I saw an S115's ratings plate reveal its model ID as AP10, which may have the older main board (see AP12 part listing from Lux France—translation:
Main board for Lux S115 AP12. Note: Not suitable for Lux Intelligence Premium and Classic, AP11, or AC11).

Yes. I have seen both boards. The D920 / AC-11 240 volt main board and display look just like the 120 volt main board and display on a Guardian Platinum. I will bet the only difference between the two boards are the transformer / rectifier. Circuit boards run on DC power so the AC input has to be rectified to DC and the voltage stepped down on the board. Everything else on the board is probably the same. Externally they look identical.
The AP-11 Intelligence Premium main board is way more complex with the Bluetooth stuff incorporated and the display is different.
You can see I run my Guardian Platinum with a Lux Intelligence hose that I removed the Bluetooth stuff and replaced it with a simple single pole rocker switch from another Lux hose. I made it look like a D920
