I have 3 Luxomatic 89 vacuum cleaners, in green. All of them work. One is missing a wheel and the cord does not retract. I also have a complete set of attachments, with some duplicates. I only have one hose and the plastic part is broken. Are there collectors who might be interested in these? I'll post pictures if there is interest.

The shipping cost is cost prohibitive for me, but I agree with human's reply. Electrolux Canada's 80 Series, that ran from 1958 to 1973, is popular among enthusiasts.

Going by memory from Doug Smith's information, it seems that there were three successive versions of the 89: Z89 with chrome top and end trim & cord outlet for PN II , ZB89 with green top trim and chrome end trim & cord outlet for PN III, & 89E with all green trim and electric hose inlet for embedded electric hose for PN IV. I think the tank designations (besides the '89' painted on the front end) and serial numbers are stamped on the edge of the bag compartments or on the inside of the bag doors, and the technical information is stamped on the bottoms. Production was 1968 to 1973. The first digits of the serial numbers indicate the last digit of the year of manufacture (e.g. '8' would be 1968 and '3' 1973).

I hope you find some buyers.
