N106M Power Head voltage to run

I have some attachments . They are the ones that have pins that are far apart as in this model , N106M. I have a different style electrolux so I can't test it to see if it works . Does it run on DC ? Will a train trans former run it for testing purposes ?

These need 110-120 volt AC. Buy a short replacement power cord from a hardware store. Strip back the ends opposite the plug and attach some alligator clips to the free ends (crimp and/or solder depending on the alligator clip design). Clip the alligator clips on to the contacts on the neck. Make sure the bottom of the power nozzle and brush roll is not touching the floor or work bench so it doesn't try to run off and plug the cord into a 115 volt outlet.

A test lead like I described is a very handy thing to have in your tool box. Once you make it you will find all kinds of good uses for it.
