Will Hoover Turbopower 2 Belts fit a Hoover Turbopower 3 U2880?

Would like to know as I have belts that will fit a Turbopower 2 but they say nothing about the Turbopower 3, looked on eBay for Turbo 3 belts & they come up as Turbo 2 belts. Do they fit. Thanks.

Of course they will, the TP2 & 3 are the same machine in essence.

Of course they're the same, Alex. One of them has a longer hose, probably more power and fancier features. They also use the same dust bags, agitator roll and filters. As you know they're also clean fan design compared to the TP1 series which is dirty fan.

I was commenting on the orginal post, of course I know they are the same I have every variation of Turbopower "2"

And I was commenting on your "are you serious," question. I care not for the many TP2s you have but you should be well aware by now that parts fit both TP2 and 3 where the drive belts and agitators are concerned.

It's OK everyone I fitted a TP2 belt seconds after starting this thread, needless to say the Autosense keeps going up & down despite me using the TP3 for 1 week before with the old belt.
