Yeah 90's vacuums are trending upward as kids born in the late 90's and 2000's are aging up and getting jobs/money to buy the vacuums their parents used.

Dirt Devil Broom Vacs regularly sell for $130 +/-

This is definitely one of the stranger phenomenons in the resale world recently. It is not rare to see Hoover Elites, Eureka Bravos, and others of their contemporaries sell in the $100 range. Even just a few years ago these were considered pretty much junk unless it was a really early model in very good condition, and even then they wouldn't sell for 100 bucks. I'm sure many of the more mature collectors considered them junk when they were new!

My theory is people my age (90s babies) are now working age and have the money to buy 90s and 2000s models they wanted as a kid. Still a shock to me they're worth so much now. Or maybe inflation has reached the vacuum world too. I remember buying my first Convertible on eBay for I think $60 with shipping. That's a steal today! But in 2006 that was on the high side.

haha yeah It's the only thing I scan think of. Even locally this seems to be happening. There was a couple Hoover Elites in my local Restore. They were gone within the same day of hitting the sales floor.

It’s just hard to believe the 90’s is now 30 years ago. I can’t remember the last time I saw an Elite thrifting heck I never see original bagged Bissell Powerforces anymore. Just time marching on I guess.
