To me, Electrolux (Aerus) and Filter Queen both have one major drawback -- their power nozzles. I think they are both very good machines with that one caveat. I only own older metal Electrolux vacuums (all pre-1994). So the filtration award goes to Filter Queen there. I'm sure Aerus has leveled the playing field on newer models, though. I might give the FQ a slight edge, because they do have height adjustment on the power nozzle where Electrolux does not.
